Bob Cassell, messenger

We are not all farmers who sow seeds and reap harvests but, we as God’s servants, are commanded to sow spiritual seeds into the white harvest fields that surround us.

Ecclesiastes 11:6, In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

Psalm 126:5-6, They that sow in tears shall reap in Joy, he that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Gal. 6:9, Let us not grow weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

Mt. 11:28-29, Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest, take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly and you shall find rest for your souls.

Our responsibility before God is to plow and sow in his vineyard. God is the source of the increase. We know not the spiritual condition of the individuals we meet day to day who are trodding the spiritual pathway of life, but we know it is the mission of the members of God’s royal family to tell and share the gospel.

I had just finished preparing a tax return for a very fine part timer pastor, in Columbia Tennessee. I said to him in parting. “Now Jasper, I want to encourage you to be sure you share the word of God with as many as possible, today and for the rest of your life.” Jasper responded, “yessir’ Mr. Cassell, I’m gonna’ tell em’ But I can’t make em’ believe it. That’s God’s business, my business is to tell em’ and that’s what I’m gonna’ do.”

It is our sovereign God who blesses, who gives growth, production, results, life, and even the where-withal to produce.

Matthew 11:27, No one knows the son except the father, and no one knows the father except the son and those to whom the son chooses to reveal him.

To know the Son is to know the Father and to know the Father is to know the Son. The Father plans, the Son executes the Fathers plan and the Holy Spirit Reveals that plan. The title of the plan of God for mankind is ‘Grace,’ which is God doing the work and man receiving the benefits that have been accomplished on behalf of mankind.

Grace represents all that God is free to do for mankind on the basis of the accomplishments of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ has accomplished all that is necessary for your Salvation … all the work that is required for humankind to enter heaven and enjoy eternal life has already been accomplished.

Jn 6:28, 29 Jesus was asked by the inquiring crowd near the sea of Galilee, what shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered… this is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he hath sent.

Salvation is the work of God for man; it is not the work of man for God; it is not what you do, have done or can do, it is what he has done that is finished!

The entire Salvation package is wrapped up in and completed by believing what God is free to do for you on the sole basis of the accomplishments of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. It is his mediating and interceding for you and standing in the place you deserve. It is a point in time decision that will make the difference between where you will spend eternity… it is either Heaven, because you believe in Jesus Christ or it is Hell because you do not believe in him. If you do not believe in Jesus Christ, you have pulled the rug out from under yourself…there is no other alternative. There is no one who is the savior who saves but THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Acts 4:12, Neither is there Salvation in any other for there is none other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

John 14:6, I am the way, the truth and the life no man cometh unto the father but by me.

1 Timothy 2:5-6, For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, vs 6, who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Hebrews 2:3, How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation, which at first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him.

Why do you wait dear brother… why should you tarry so long, the savior is waiting to give you a place in his Heavenly home.

If you are not standing firm in Christ, you will not stand at all because you are standing on your own weak human foundation. You may be assured… it will not hold you up. You will fall and your fall will be great and this tragic fall will be unto eternal damnation.

Will you be able to stand before the living God and say, “I didn’t know this would happen so soon, I thought I would have time to get ready!” His warning to you in this very hour is “Be ready for you know not what this day may bring forth” you only know about today; you have no right or authority to presume you will be here tomorrow.

Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Isa 1:18 Come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet they shall be as white as snow; though they be red liked crimson, they shall be as wool.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 14:1 the fool has said in his heart …there is no God. Fool indeed!!

John 6:47 He that believeth on me HATH everlasting life! This statement is directly from the lips of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, hear ye him!
